You can make a number of changes to the Mobile Device defaults. These options include:

Check Mobile Device Connection on Startup

By default ADLInspect will automatically, on startup, check if the Mobile Device is connected. By de-selecting this option ADLInspect will not check connection on startup.

 

Note: Automatic check on startup only works on Non Terminal Server environments.

 

Prompt When Transferring Files Between PDA and PC

By default when transferring files between your PDA and PC within ADLInspect it will prompt you whether you would like to Overwrite or Save As when there is already a file with the same name.

 

To set a default action on transfer, un-tick this option and set the default as 'SaveAs' or 'Overwrite'. Once you have set a default ADLInspect will no longer prompt you when transferring files.

 

Terminal Server

This is to inform the ADLInspect system that it is installed on a terminal server.

 

Note: These settings should not be changed unless you are configuring a terminal server installation

 

 

Mobile Device Setup:

Open ADLInspect

 

2.

Select Options from the ‘Tools’ menu within the ADLInspect Manager.

 

3.

Set preferences as required

 

4.

Click <OK>
