You can make a number of changes to the General Inspection defaults. These options include:

Default ADLForms Folder

ADLInspect allows multiple computers running ADLInspect to save and access forms from a single location on a Server computer to which they are connected (networked).  This allows a number of users within an office to access the same form files.

Default Time to Add to Next Inspection

When scheduling the next inspection for a property it will default to how many days/weeks/months that you set in this option.

 

Photos

This is the location that ADLInspect will automatically save the photos to, which are taken on the mobile device, when retrieving the inspection from the device. You may wish to centralise this location for easy access.

 

Default Timeframe for Action Requests

This is the default timeframe that is required to complete action requests before they  are marked as outstanding.

 

Auto Schedule New Inspections Older Than

The ADLInspect Manager will prompt you to 'Complete/Schedule New Inspections' for any inspection, within the 'Inspection Library', that has not been marked as completed and is older than the timeframe set in this option.

 

 

General Inspection Setup:

Open ADLInspect

 

2.

Select Options from the ‘Tools’ menu within the ADLInspect Manager.

 

3.

Set preferences as required

 

4.

Click <OK>
