Open the ADLInspect Manager

The Welcome Wizard will open

Before continuing click the 'Click Here' link to familiarise yourself with the layout of the ADLInspect Manager

To continue, click <Next>

Select the appropriate options and click <Next>

If you selected both options proceed to Step 5
If you only selected 'I have inspection reports, previously saved using ADLForms, that I wish to import into the ADLInspect Manager' proceed to Step 5
If you only selected 'I have handwritten inspection reports that I wish to add to the ADLInspect Manager' proceed to Step 8
If you didn't select either option proceed to Step 13

You can now choose inspections, that you have previously saved using ADLForms, to import into the ADLInspect Manager

Click <Add Inspections> and select whether you would like to 'add folder' or 'add file'

Select the Folder / File you would like to import and click <OK>
This will add all the inspection reports into the 'Inspections that have been added' list. If there are any reports that have been added that you do not want to import into the ADLInspect Manager click the 'Remove' button next to the report you wish to remove
Continue adding Folders / Files until you have added all of the reports that you wish to import

Once you have added the Folders / Files to import into ADLInspect Manager click <Next>
If you didn't select the option to add handwritten reports to ADLInspect proceed to Step 13

You can now create new inspection reports to add to the ADLInspect Manager

Click <Create New Report> and select the type of report you would like to create

Name the file and choose an appropriate place to save the file then click <Save>
|

This will open the report through ADLForms (this feature is available to all ADLInspect users) so that you can insert all of the comments from a previous report that has been created using any source other than ADLForms
Type in all of the required information and comments as per the previous report. By doing this, when onsite you will only need to edit or add to the previous comments

Once you have finished creating your report click <Save> then <Quit>
This will take you back to the Welcome Wizard and the report you created will now appear in the 'Inspections Created' list

Once you have created all of the reports that you wish to add into the ADLInspect Manager click <Next>

You can now choose the folders you would like to continually monitor

Setting up Monitored Folders within ADLInspect allows you to always have access to the latest files. If you monitor the appropriate folders ADLInspect will automatically update edited reports and add new reports into you 'Inspection Library' when opening the program.
Click <Add...> and select <Browse...>

Select the Folder you would like to monitor and click <OK>
This will add the selected folder into the 'Monitored Folders' list
Continue adding Folders until you have added all of the required folders that you wish to monitor

Once you have added the Folders to monitor click <Next>
|

You have now successfully completed the Welcome Wizard

Click <Finish> to exit the Welcome Wizard
