Calculating a Date
Date calculation is a quick and easy way to specify a date that is a required number of days from a particular day.
IMPORTANT: In some forms it is a legislative requirement to specify a date that is an exact (or no less than a) number of days from a certain date (eg. Entry date may be required to be no less than 14 days from the date of a notice of an agent’s intention to enter rental premises).
Such legislative requirement may or may not require the start date to be counted as being part of the period of days. ADLForms cannot know when such requirements apply. It is the responsibility of the person completing the form to know the requirements in respect to legislation covering the form being created and check or uncheck the “Including Selected Date” checkbox as necessary.
Examples:
The following screenshot shows how to calculate a date that is 14 days from today, including today:

The following screenshot shows how to add 13 days to today’s date, not including today (effectively the same result as above):

Remember Settings
If you are always setting dates that require a specific calculation ADLForms can remember your settings for use the next time you need to calculate a date. Check the “Remember My Settings” checkbox before selecting a date and the program will automatically apply your calculation settings the next time you use the Calendar Control.
